As shared in her Facebook page:
“However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are. It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse”.

JAMB reiterate CBT, says “no going back on it” and why?

img src JAMB-reiterate-CBT-says-no-going-back-on-it-and-why?.gif" alt=" JAMB reiterate CBT, says “no going back on it” and why? > </p>

JAMB, yesterday refute the publication of a national newspaper credited to it that Computer Based Testing has been phased out. JAMB said that, the introduction of eight keys was to make it easy for candidates who have adequate knowledge of computer to answer examination questions with ease.

The JAMB Director of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin said yesterday that:”There is no going back on the Computer Based Testing (CBT)”. He said that, the clarification became necessary based on the false headlines in front page of some national dailies yesterday that “JAMB dumps CBT, adopts eight keys.”

He maintained that, “The headline was not only false but could as well cause panic, distortion and confusion in the minds of Nigerians, mostly on the part of candidates planning to take the forthcoming UTME examination of a well conceived CBT examination which the board was consolidating on the gains and feat recorded.”

Sequel to this, he advised all Nigerians to disregard the report and continue to support JAMB drive towards excellence. In the meantime, Mr. Benjamin, in explaining the functions of the 8 keys, said that the eight keys is planned to make the navigation of the examination easy and friendly for those that are not knowledgeable enough in the use of computer and other devices.

According to him, “In order to ensure equity and level playground for all candidates taking Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), JAMB Board has planned and designed a system that will enable candidates to use only eight keys without the use of mouse.”

He said, “All the candidates need to do is to press the letters A,B,C,D for responses to questions and keys: P, N, S and R representing; previous question, next question, submit and reverse, in that order”.

He continued, “In our attempt to make Computer Based Test easy, the Board introduced the use of 8 keys without a mouse. According to him, JAMB have explained to Nigerians and all stakeholders at the Board strategic planning Retreat on…

“Supervision and evaluation of the conduct of the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Kaduna” where they had the privilege of having over a hundred distinguished scholars from the academia, civil society and other important stakeholders.”

He again said that the introduction of the 8 keys without a mouse was as a result of JAMB Board determination to continue to innovate on policies that will ease the phobia for computer based test by the prospective candidate.

What is causing feud between farmers and herdsmen and reported cases of killings?

img src What-is-causing-the-feud-between-farmers-and-herdsmen-and- reported- cases-of- killings? .gif" alt=" What is causing the feud between farmers and herdsmen and reported cases of killings? > </p>

This question calls for concerns for all and sundry. If it doesn’t bothers you, who knows the next victim. Respect for the sanctity of human’s life is no longer there. Killings by alleged Fulani herdsmen everywhere…and I think, it’s based on his concerns too, Barrister Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe may have come up with this write up as shared by Ossai Nwaka in her Facebook:

By Barrister Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe.

We hear that Delta State students has vowed to occupy Government House Asaba until the state government and Governor Okowa explains why APC Fulani Herdsmen are killing their parents on a regular basis.

Its sad that the CHANGE Nigerians allegedly voted for in 2015 has become a necessary evil which they have to condone till another general elections in 2019. Very sad.

The federal police daily parades petty thieves, phone snatchers and sometimes armed robbers who are fishedout from hidings but cannot arrest and prosecute Fulani Herdsmen moving around in broad daylight with AK 47 and other deadly assault riffles. Too bad.

It is obvious that the APC national government saddled with the responsibility of regulating laws on arms and ammunition has failed woefully in its primary assignment of protecting vulnerable Nigerians and Deltans against the consistent brutal killings of innocent citizens.

Gov Okowa as the Chief Security Officer of the state can only give directives to the police but at the end of the day all Police Commissioners obey the last orders from the Inspector General of Police and the Commander in chief of the Armed Forces. So, why blame Gov Okowa for the deliberate negligence of duty of law enforcement agencies or agents on federal government payrolls? Its unfair.

It is therefore strongly recommended that Gov Okowa and the state legislative arm of government should quickly find a way round the vexed issue of human massacre by these heartless APC Fulani Herdsmen.

Who gave the Herdsmen license to carry AK 47 and other assault riffles in all states of the federation? Federal Government regulates arms and ammunition.

APC leaders and President Buhari are watching these alleged Boko Haram and lnslamization agents parade and proudly displays deadly weapons without disarming them. We see them, the police see them and other law enforcement agents see them move around freely with deadly weapons. Why blame Gov Okowa?

You blame Gov Okowa for this? Is Okowa the federal police that ought to arrest and prosecute these local criminals? Who ordered the federal police not to arrest Fulani Herdsmen? Is it not President Buhari and his men and by extention APC? So why blame Gov Okowa. Let's stop playing politics with the truth and the dear lives of our people.

It is on record that with all killings made so far by APC Fulani Herdsmen throughout the country, not one single Herdsman has been arrested and prosecuted. And you blame Gov Okowa for APC and Buhari protective politics in favour of the Herdsmen? Please call a spade a spade.

APC DELTA crude propaganda will not and can never sway Deltans to vote for another round of impunity, hunger, Fulani Herdsmen brutality, poverty, corruption and stagnated economy in 2019. NEVER.

No sane Deltan will vote for APC Fulani Herdsmen in 2019. Our people are suffering under this moribund APC Fulani government headed by Mr President. God save our souls.

Our students, particularly members of the National Association of Delta Students in Universities (NADESSTU) should remember that Gov Okowa has no powers to regulate laws on arms and ammunition and therefore can only work with the House of Assembly to modify laws that would toughen penalty on the activities of crinimals killing innocent citizens.

It is also strongly recommended that our Youths in the various LGAs should be mobilized and equipped locally to launch reprisal attacks since the federal government is not willing to call their Herdsmen to order.

Delta is peaceful. APC Fulani Herdsmen should not provoke another round of hostility and insecurity.
