WHO revoke Robert Mugabe Goodwill Ambassador appointment

The World Health Organization (WHO), has revoked the appointment of Zimbabwe's President, Robert Mugabe as a goodwill ambassador following widespread condemnation.

WHO head, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in a statement said; "I have listened carefully to all who have expressed their concerns," 

Tedros had earlier commended Zimbabwe for its commitment to public health.

However, critics has noted that Zimbabwe's healthcare system had collapsed under the watchful eye of President Robert Mugabe's 30-year administration.
