Why Maintain Your Moral Uprightness!

AB thank God for another day. I guess You Do too!

Appreciating God for seeing another day; another opportunity to make new friends; made amends in the mistake of yesterday [if any]; take a walk out and had feel of things that you consider good looking…sincerely I cherish good things. And I know you do!

A young man who lives close to me bought a land and completed the 5 set of one bedroom flat and 2 bedrooms building in a space of 3 months. Everybody was happy for him. For at least, he has made it! The next thing we heard from the sister in-law, he has bought another land and developing it. In a space of yet another 3 months, he’s done with the building. That wasn’t even enough, he bought a powerful jeep. The jeep appears to be unequal in my locality. Everyone seems to be talking about the car! Some guys around came to me asking who the guy is…and to comment on the car.

The car is SWEET said one of the guys.

I’ll buy the jeep; said the other. While it’s good to desire good thing[s], you should do well to work for it. Faith without work is nothing but a mere wish.

But, how do you aim to achieve that? I ask him. ANYHOW he said. Don’t be desperate, said one of the guys; tell yourself the truth…you can’t buy that jeep.

Even though, it’s not out of place to desire good thing, you just have to work hard for it. Desiring anything without having the purchasing power becomes a mere wish. You get that? RIGHT!

My neighbour friend desired the jeep and really worked for it. That’s the assumption. The sister’s in-law can tell his story. He’s a young boy when his elder brother took over his upbringing, and invariably was brought up by the brother’s wife, who is the sister, in-law. A boy that got frustrated in the village parked his bags and baggage and left for city. After few months, he was asked to learn auto mechanic. To cut the long story short, he finished his apprenticeship and was established.

In short, he’s a road side mechanic and that’s what he’s doing and getting the money to do all that. The rest is history.

Sadly, the wealth got to the level that the elder brother and wife became suspicious of how is getting his money to have achieve all that.

Ordinarily, smart idea works…But

Not the ideas to dupe people. Or engage in dubious activities to make money. This won’t help you but instead will lead you to quick end.

Enough of that…and let’s get to where I’m going.

Our society today no longer ask question about your source of wealth. No! That doesn’t count any longer. There’s just a big question mark on the morality of the people. In our society today

If you don’t have money, you’re not to be recon with. Even in your family cycle. A younger one in a family is accorded respect more than her elder siblings. Why? S/he has money in the family. Without her, nothing happens.

This development has led to the point that no one CARES any longer what the source of your money/wealth is but just wants to make

money ANYHOW at ALL cost. In a topic like this

One thing led to another but would want us to focus on your need to maintain your moral uprightness no matter the level of moral decadence in the society.

Money is good and the Bible recognize this in the book of Ecclesiastes 10:19 ‘’A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; But money answers EVERYTHING”.

Nothing is wrong with MONEY. It’s the LOVE of MONEY to the injury of the other person... that’s wrong. Here, I’m not trying to be religious. Far be it.

But it’s important you refer to this book of life. It helps. Why?

I even need money than you probably need it, but you have to do those things that attract money. How? I’ll tell you. And here you have it…

Don’t be fooled by sharp-sharp money. It could lead you to quick jail. The basic principle of earning is security of your investment. You have to invest in a safe manner either. Yes!

Either you invest money or you invest your time. Both will make you money genuinely without ending you in quick jail.

Don’t compare yourself with other persons. Whenever you compare yourself with other, you simply are regarding yourself as not good enough.  “I returned and saw under the sun that –

the race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favour to men of skill; But time and chances happen to them all”. Whatever...

Your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Be contented with what you have while you work hard to improve on it. Why compare yourself with others? Remember

No one in the whole world can do a better job of being you than you. Instead
of comparing yourself with others, redirect the thought, ask yourself questions instead. Like what are those things

you could have done 5,3, or even 1 year ago that you didn’t do?

What are your wins this year, compared to last year at this time? How has your life improved? How have you improved? What have you done recently that you never thought you could do?

These questions will help you to improve on your life instead of comparing yourself with other. Comparing might push you to do something desperate which might lead you to an ugly end. Rejoice instead

with those that are making it. Don’t condemn people that have because you don’t have yet. Your own will come!

Wait for your time and in everything, give thanks. And that’s what the scripture requires of you.

Why Compare?

Hey, comparing yourself could not be out of place if you go about it in the RIGHT manner. How? I’ll tell you.

Comparing yourself with others could just be what you need to help you know what’s possible. Comparing makes you competitive,

In a good way anyway! Being competitive doesn’t mean you want the other person to fail. It just means you want the same level of success for yourself. And.

Comparing makes you more grateful. Like I said earlier, when you rejoice in others’ success, your own sure will come.

It’s just that the hearts of man are desperately wicked. But separate yourself. And work diligently to earn your decent living. Remember

Quick Dubious Money, Quick Jail and...

those who fails to hear has and always have their finger burnt. Do not say you don’t know.

For, there’s no ignorance in the court of law.
